The Rain Pours Down Hard...
7:12 PM
This poem was one of my recently created poems, during a storm and I had nothing to do but sit in my bed and think of different stuff when it came to me.My imagination was at its peak and I had nothing to do, so I thought to myself "Hey, I haven't made poems in a while, maybe I should make new ones to add to my collection."Ok so, here it goes...Another afternoon, boring and plainNothing new, special or something to gainAs the rain pours hard to the groundI lay here on my bed with my head bowed downOutside its wet and damp and coldA gloomy outcome the rain holdsThe lightning strikes with forceful mightA flash of light can be seen even in the nightAs the rain dies down, a rainbow appearsTo remind us that joy and hope is still hereThat life is worth living every second of the dayIf we learn how to thank God and always prayProblems ahead?Just think of them as raindropsSmall or big as they come, they'll soon fade awayAnd the clouds will no longer be gray'Coz the light that shines from God above, is here to stay..Well that's about it.Ciao for now!:-)
